Element
Fire
Will, transformation, and the candle that is still a fire.
Fire in ritual is not a personality. It is a chemical reaction that can kill you. If you cannot stay in the room, you do not light it. A lamp is a complete fire for every rite in this library.
- Stable holder, away from curtains, pets, and sleeves.
- Snuff or use a lid. Do not blow sparks into your notes if you can help it.
- No open flame if you are leaving, sleeping, drinking heavily, or dissociating.
- Apartments and dorms may forbid candles. Obey that. The prohibition is the rite.
I want what I want, and I will still put the flame out.
