The path

What this is not

A short list of costumes this project refuses to wear.

  • Not an ancient Wilde lineage. The name is a contemporary signature, not a genealogy.
  • Not Gardnerian, Alexandrian, Minoan Brotherhood, Minoan Sisterhood, or the Temple of Antinous. Those are other people’s houses. We link them when a reader should know they exist. We do not speak for them or reprint their rites.
  • Not a reconstruction of Greek, Roman, Norse, or Mesopotamian religion. When we approach those gods, we say we are modern devotees reading old stories.
  • Not therapy, medicine, legal advice, or crisis care.
  • Not a shop, a school with students, or a publisher with books on sale. The study pages are plans.
  • Not a place that will assign you a patron deity based on your anatomy, your chart, or a quiz.
  • Not Halloween décor with footnotes. The furniture is dark because libraries after dusk are dark. The ethics are stricter than the color palette.

If you came looking for a secret password, there isn’t one. The work is the ordinary repetition, done honestly, by a person who is allowed to be queer without filing a mythological petition.
